Well, you knew you were watching a Moffat story as soon as the banana reared its head and there was quite an insistful request for the Doctor to (ahem) "dance" in this week's Doctor Who episode, "The Girl in the Fireplace". Good ol' Moffat. The episode was very entertaining overall, especially for us fluff-lovers, and was beautiful to look at, even if it took me two viewings to understand the plot and work it out! And, naturally, my "What if...?" sketch for this week is centred around that very sensual snog, albeit with the Ninth Doctor on the receiving end of Madame de Pompadour's kiss instead. (I'll tell you what, though, if Nine popped out of my fireplace, he wouldn't be going back! :love:)

A pencil sketch inspired by the new Who. T'is all copyright of the BBC, of course, I'm just playing with their toys for a while.

wow, the detail is awsome :D I loved that last ep, those aliens in the mask acturally got me a bit freaked out though, the masks! ahh!
Anyway, overall this is an awsome pic :D Love the sketchines feel to it too and realism :)

They were scary, weren't they? I'm glad I'm not still a kid really - I wouldn't want the thought in the back of my mind of having clockwork men ticking away under my bed before nightfall. :)

oo-er! haha. Still havent seen the episode (dad's recorded it though so hopefully Ill get around to watching it soon ^^; ) but jeeze if 9 actually did that then I think a lot of people would wanna slap that madam de Pompadour ^^; hahaha.

LOL - me included! (The words "Get off my Doctor!" come to mind.) I'd rather see Nine snog Rose again, of course, but imagining him getting kissed, full-stop, is good enough for me. ^^; I couldn't help myself.

It's a good episode, though, trust me, it *is* very complicated. It could have done with two episodes to spread it out over, and give the viewer time to comprehend it all. Enjoy it when you see it. And thanks for the :+fav:! :hug:

How I loved The Girl in the Fireplace :love: Although the banana line set me off on a wave of Nine-nostalgia :XD:
Lovely drawing, you've got his face spot on which is incredible seen as he's *so* hard to draw! :)

Tell me about nostalgia! I've just wanted to watch "The Doctor Dances" again since the banana popped up and the Doctor said the same line as before: "Bananas are good"! :lol:

haha "get off my doctor" I think I would say teh same ^^; hahaha.
I just tried watching it but its not working on my playstation or computer and im too lazy to hook my dvd player up >_< so Ill have to attack the tv sometime tomorrow or thursday ^^; Im sure I will enjoy it, although I bet it would be more enjoyable if 9 was there :drool: :glomp: no problemo about the :+fav: you deserve it :D :glomp:
